Meal Planning for Busy Moms: The Dinner Daily

0
Many thanks to The Dinner Daily, not only for partnering with us, but for creating this valuable services for families!

When my husband asks “what’s for dinner?”, I cringe! As most moms know, it’s a full time job planning out meals, nevermind doing the grocery shopping for the week. After awhile it feels like you are eating the same meals over and over. My three year old is a pretty good eater, but he would much rather spend time playing with mom then watching me debate what’s for dinner. On top of being a mom, I’m a nurse at the hospital, sometimes starting my shifts at 7pm. This makes deciding what’s for dinner a bit more difficult. My son and I will eat first and then my husband eats once he gets home and we do the switch. Knowing what we are planning to have and having all the ingredients put together for me makes it so much easier. But isn’t this easier said than done, Moms?

Let me introduce you to The Dinner Daily– a program that was developed by a working mom to help take the dread out of meal planning!

How it works- The Dinner Daily customizes a meal plan for your family based off your preferences (chicken, meat,or fish) and where you like to shop! For my family we utilize Stop&Shop Delivery to get our groceries delivered weekly so our meal plans were created with that in mind.

After selecting our choices the site generates a menu for each week. You can then customize the entire menu or just the sides to your preferences as needed each week! The best part, it finds the best sales for you- saving you money and time!

This weeks menu included Three Step Chicken Parmesan. It’s one of our family’s favorites and so easy to put together. Not only does The Dinner Daily provide a shopping list (which you can automatically add to your Stop & Shop Delivery order!), it also includes the recipe to make each dish. It takes the guess work and stress out of cooking! I can customize how detailed or easy I want the meals to be. On work nights I need an easy dinner that lets me get a bit of rest in before my shift!

The Dinner Daily integrates with Stop&Shop Delivery, and being able to send my shopping list right to my online cart gives my family so much more time during the week. You simply click “add the ingredients to my shopping list” and they appear in your Stop&Shop cart! No more spending time searching for every single ingredient and scouring for sales- it’s done for you! And that is music to any mama’s ears!

The Dinner Daily supports a number of dietary restrictions, and each recipe is created by The Dinner Daily team with a focus on healthy whole foods. 80% of the recipes take 40 minutes or less, which is perfect for busy families! the website features a recipe search feature, where you can search for recipes based on ingredients you already have (in the event that you forgot to take the meat out of the freezer… oh…just me?).

Whether you’re a working mom or stay at home mom, I highly recommend you try this amazing service. At $4 a month, this is a steal! Plus they offer a free two week trial, so there’s nothing to lose!

The Dinner Daily has been a life saver for our family, and my dinner-time sanity! Try it out and let me know what you think!
