The Providence Mom Guide to November 2019

This Monthly Guide is brought to you by the Providence Children's Museum.

For me, November means so many things.  The early inklings of the holiday season, the beginning of cold weather (my favorite!), the annual “who-waits-the-longest-to-turn-on-their-heat” contest amongst my immediate family members.  The back-to-school crazy has settled, and life feels normal again. It’s fleeting, and not long into December I always wish to have the calmness of November back. Enjoy this slow month Mamas. Make the most of it, and be intentional about how you spend it. We get to choose, chaos or calm, no matter the season!

Our Monthly Guide Partner for the Month of November is The Providence Children’s Museum, one of our all-time favorite places to play with our kiddos. The mission of the Providence Children’s Museum is to inspire and celebrate learning through active play and exploration. They foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. The museum is accessible and responsive to all families, culturally, physically, and economically. Happening now: The Creativity Initiative, an interactive exhibit by local RI artists. Contributor Elizabeth Bettencourt visited the Creativity Initiative last week; you can read about her visit here.
