Fall sports are winding down and “go outside and play” gets a little harder when you have to bundle up. Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America
The Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America provides an educational, character and citizenship building program to more than 13,000 youth in Southeastern New England. Cub Scout Programs are open to boys and girls from Kindergarten to fifth grade, Scouts BSA is open to youth in grades 6-12 and The Venturing, Exploring (Career Exploration) and Sea Scout Programs are open to youth ages 14-20.

Our activities are designed to reinforce the core competencies and curricula being taught at
each grade level. Research has shown that many of children’s best learning experiences come
when they are engaged not simply in interacting with materials but in designing, creating, and
inventing with them. Our activities offer students an environment where they are encouraged to
create and interact with materials and technology enabling them to explore solutions through
hands-on “playful” learning through the use of LEGO bricks and technology.
