Nearly three years ago I called one of my oldest friends.
“I think I’m going to do a thing. Want to do it with me?”
We have a long history of talking each other into things – though to be honest, it typically doesn’t take much “talking into. One of us suggests something, and the other says “I’m in.”.
“Move to New York with me.” (“I’m in,” she said).
“Come to work for me.” (“I’m in,” I said.)
“Launch a blog with me.”
“I’m in.”
And three years later, this blog has blossomed into so much more than that. Our website has a team of 26 writers and a staff of five. We open our hearts and tell you our stories. We maintain a robust events calendar and we host events and meet up’s in the community. We bring our Baby Care Station to local events and sit with you as you feed your babies and tell us your stories.
And so we find ourselves realizing, that this “blog” is really no longer a blog. We have worked tirelessly to become a full-fledged parenting resource, your first stop for resources that help you get the most of our beloved Rhode Island and beyond.
