We are just over a week away from the Fourth of July which means it’s time to start making plans for fireworks! We’ve got the rundown on where you can catch them in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts all summer long. Stay safe & enjoy!  

Most fireworks start between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

 

Rhode Island:

JULY 1
Jamestown — East Ferry Beach at 9:00p.m.

JULY 2
Newport — Newport Harbor. Best viewing is anywhere along Newport Harbor, facing west.

JULY 3
Block Island — Crescent Beach, 7 Corn Neck Road 

Bristol — Independence Park

Cumberland — Tucker Field, 2600 Mendon Road. Food trucks open 5-9 p.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m.
(Rain date: July 5)

North Kingstown — Town Beach (Rain date: July 6 )

North Providence — Gov. John A. Notte Jr. Park, 1160 Douglas Avenue. Entertainment and food court from 6-9 p.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m. (Rain date: July 5)

JULY 4
Coventry — Johnson’s Pond Civic Association at 9:30p.m.

Narragansett — Narragansett Town Beach, 39 Boston Neck Road. Fireworks at dusk.

Portsmouth – Escobar’s Highland Farm, 133 Middle Road.

Providence — India Point Park, 201 India Street. Music and food starting at 7:00 p.m. 

South Kingstown — Old Mountain Field, 875 Kingstown Road.

JULY 5
Smithfield — Bulldog Stadium at Bryant University, 1150 Douglas Pike. The campus opens to the public at 6 p.m. U.S. Navy Band performs at 8 p.m. Fireworks at 9 p.m.  
(Fireworks only rain date: July 6)

East Providence — Pierce Memorial Stadium, 201 Mercer Street. Gates open at 6 p.m. for food, concessions, and music. (Rain date: July 6)

JULY 7
Warwick– Oakland Beach Seawall 889 Oakland Beach Ave. 9 p.m. (Rain Date: July 12)

Paw Sox Post- Game Fireworks — All summer long on the following dates.

July 3
Foxborough– Patriot Place at Gillette Stadium 

Sharon — Barge on Lake Massapoag, 196 Pond Street

Walpole — Joe Morgan Memorial Field, 220 School Street

Attleboro– Hayward Field at 89 North Avenue (Rain date: July 5)

Freetown/Assonet – South Main & Water Street 9:30p.m.

July 4
Fall River — Waterfront 

New Bedford — State Pier

Battleshipp Cove — 5 Water Street Fall River. Watch fireworks from the deck of the battleship USS Massachusetts. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.  $10 per person available at the door or for pre-purchase.

JULY 6
Franklin– Franklin High School. 10 p.m.

JULY 19 & 20

Bellingham- – Bellingham Middle School

 

Cape Cod & Surrounding Islands :

JULY 1
Mashpee — Mashpee Middle/High School. 8:45 p.m.(rain date July 2nd)

JULY 4
Sandwich– Shawme Pond

Falmouth– Falmouth Heights Beach (Rain date: July 5)

Hyannis–Lewis Bay (Rain date: August 31)

Provincetown- –  Provincetown Harbor

JULY 6
